Jay Hokanson is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ serving the mid-Michigan area. He received a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University in 2001 and began working as a Financial Advisor in 2007.
Jay enjoys helping clients understand how to structure their investments to meet their goals. Jay enjoys working with everyone, but specializes in retirement planning. He works as a holistic planner, with a mindset of seeking to understand before being understood. In addition to investment strategies, Jay is licensed to help with life, long-term care, disability, and other types of insurance.
When Jay is not in the office you may find him spending time with his family. He also enjoys spending time outdoors fly fishing, mountain biking, or hiking.
Jay holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation, series 7 and 66 securities licenses as well as life, health, accident, and variable products insurance licenses. He also holds the Chartered Financial Consultant® designation and is a Social Security Certificate holder.
